A tutorial for the new hipsters here in tumblr.

Alot are asking me how did I make my category section.

So here is a simple step to add categories on your page.

For Categories/Tagged Posts 

  • Each time you post something here on tumblr you will see the tag box, located at the right side. Just add anything 

. 

you can add as many tags as you want. I added the word quotes as a tag in my post. Every time you post something that you want to categorize do this.

For Pages

Just scroll down the scrollbar at the left side and you will locate the pages section. 

Just click add page then a pop-up window will appear where you can make your page.

My page Url is now nickastig.me/page1

Just edit and add codes to build your page.

Now its time to add the codes to your theme so that visitors can see your tagged posts and pages.

 

Click edit HTML 

Once you click edit HTML, just add this code anywhere you want to see your tags/categories.

For Tagged Posts

The tag I added in my sample a while ago was “quotes” 

<a href=”/tagged/quotes”>My Quotes</a>

For Pages

The page url I made was labeled nickastig.me/page1

<a href=”/page1”>My First Page</a>

Once your done adding your HTML codes. Just hit update preview to view your tags/categories. If your not happy with the position and style you can just fix it with basic HTML. 

When done, just click appearance and hit save then close.

Then your done! simple as that! hope you understand my instructions.

  • First you need to have a torrent program.  I’m using utorrent. 

http://www.utorrent.com

Follow the instructions on downloading and install. 

Note:
Its a one time download only, when you have this program you will no longer need to download it again per movie download.
  • Go to a torrent site and search for a file you want yo download. 
I usually go to isohunt for torrent downloads.

Here is a sample. I’m looking for the movie Immortals
the result will be…
Just select a file to download.
 
Note:
Sorting it by seeders. Seeders are people who have already downloaded the file and are uploading them the more seeders the faster the download will go.
To sort just click the S on the top right of the results.
To download just click the title with the word [DL].
  • After downloading the file just click open. It will automatically open on utorrent and will automatically download the movie.
Just wait for the file to be 100% downloaded.
then your done! Congratulations! 


But remember: Many of these files are illegal and violate copyright laws.
