1. FuckYeahNickAstig issue.
I really can’t get it why people hate his contest thing. If this FuckYeahNickAstig contest is his way of showing his gratitude to his followers, then leave it as it is. If you guys make typographs for your followers, if you make typographs to thank your followers, then this (FuckYeahNickAstig contest) may be his way of thanking his followers. You guys don’t actually have to hate him, to say negative things to him just because of his contest. Don’t call it a “stupid contest”. It is his way of thanking us (his followers).
If you don’t like the idea, then just don’t mind it. Don’t mind it, instead of saying bad things about it. And besides, you are following him, hello.
2. “You don’t ask for followers. You gain them.”
Admit it, you are saying this quote to the people who are asking you to follow them back, right? But you are asking your followers to recommend you every Tuesday. Wow, how ironic! For me, asking people to follow you, and asking people to recommend you, are entirely the same. Why? Well, the former is just specific. But the latter is probably the “madiskarte” way of having followers.
You are asking your followers to recommend you. For what? Well, of course, so your Tumblr ID will appear on other people’s dashboard, and then they’ll follow you. Yah see? It’s entirely the same.
I think there’s nothing wrong with asking people to recommend you. It’s hell okay. But make sure that you won’t say “You don’t ask for followers. You gain them” to your followers who are asking you to follow them back. Because you are just like them.
3. Tumblr University.
There are now IDs, logos, building, school service, school uniforms, and different merchandises.
I don’t get it why some people keep on bashing other people who are fancying this “Tumblr University”. They keep on saying that “Tumblr is not a school, it’s a blogging site”. I mean, okay, Tumblr is a blogging site, and that’s why they (the people who are enjoying the Tumblr University) keep on posting stuffs about Tumblr University. Because this is a blog. They like to have a Tumblr University so they are posting it here. They are expressing their hopes of having a Tumblr University in real life.
Because this is a blog. We are free to post ANYTHING. So don’t hate people who keep on posting stuffs about this university. I don’t think that you have the right to hate them because they didn’t ask you to follow them in the first place. So if you hate them, then unfollow them. You are making your life complicated, dude.
4. “Walang basagan ng trip.”
Paulit-ulit. Paulit-ulit ko na lang nababasa ang mga sinasabi ninyo; “walang basagan ng trip.” Pero kumusta naman, ‘pag trip ng iba binabasag ninyo. Eh trip ni Mr. Nick na gumawa ng FuckYeahNickAstig contest, trip ng iba na gumawa ng Tumblr University, ‘wag ninyo naman “basagin”. Or rather, ‘wag na ‘wag ninyo sasabihing “walang basagan ng trip” kung kayu-kayo rin lang eh nambabasag ng trip.
If you don’t agree with the things that I’ve just said, then don’t hate me. Unfollow me instead. Your life will be beautiful if you are not hating others.
Just unfollow me instead of hating me. That would be better. Amen? Amen!
