Before summer ends, I would love to invite you to a vegan potluck at Temescal Park on August 19. I hope to enjoy the last days of summer with delicious, vegan food with warm and friendly people like you. I could already visualize a long spread of flavorful main dishes, snacks, desserts, and drinks -all vegan!
For those who are allergic to gluten, nuts, soy, and other allergens, you don’t have to worry. We will ask people to label their dish so you could quickly glance and see if it’s something you could put on your plate. If you don’t cook, you could simply bring something store-bought. You don’t even have to be vegan to join us! We do ask that the food to be vegan though.
My co-organizer, Rosie, and I will also bring free raffle prizes. The prizes include neat vegan items and they have always been a hit year after year. 2017 will be my fourth year organizing and so far it’s been so much fun putting together this communal event.
